Excellent idea. It’s ironic, because Earwolf’s new studios in NY (where we record) are beautiful AND sound treated- but are basically terrible. It’s a lesson in design and acoustics not playing well together. If anyone goes slightly off mic, they sound like their in a bathroom- and it creates a lot of extra mix tome to get it sounding the way I want it. Great suggestion, and I’ll definitely write a piece about it!
Treating a room for sound proofing. My current room is so bad I switched from a condenser to a dynamic mic which helped some.
