A quick tip for those working with RX Elements. As I'm prepping to teach my RX class this Tuesday, I decided to get RX Elements 8, despite already owning RX 7 Elements and Standard, as well as RX5 and RX6 Advanced. What can I say! I love me some RX!

A lot people struggle because they don't see the RX plugins showing up in their DAW. Different DAWs have different requirements- AAX, Audio Units, VST. If you're not sure- select all of them! I do this because I show them used in Pro Tools, GarageBand, Reaper, and others- as well as the powerful RX 8 Audio Editor (that does a lot MORE than the 4 plugins you get with Elements!!). Definitely make sure you have this all installed.
When you launch RX in a new DAW, it may ask for your serial number again. It's in your email receipt when you bought it. Just copy and paste it to the next DAW.
If you want to know more, feel free to sign up for my next RX Elements or RX Standard classes. This Tuesday's Elements class is sold out and there is a waiting list forming. If enough people are interested, I'll run it again soon!
As per your instructions, I went to the Isotope website to reinstall RX8 elements. That list of DAW filetypes didn't appear during the install, so there was nothing to select. So... still not connected to my audacity. :(
