  • Help- 30 Minutes

    Whether you need help with Source Connect, choosing studio gear that fits your budget, or some one-on-one lessons with Pro Tools, GarageBand, Izotope RX and more- feel free to reach out! Help sessions are $90 for 30 minutes. Be sure to let me know what you need help with first to make sure I can actually be of assistance!   • Evaluation

    Is your sound broadcast ready? Is your setup going to fly for booked sessions? This $45 evaluation will help improve your sound if needed. Often times small adjustments make big improvements! You can follow the links and pay through this website with PayPal and receive a Zoom link automatically- or you can Venmo me @frank-verderosa, and label it 'Evaluation' and I will send a Zoom link before your scheduled time. We'll work together for 15 minutes on Zoom to evaluate your setup, and make adjustments as needed to improve things. Prior to our meeting, I need the following from you (email me at frank.verderosa@gmail.com): - A list of your gear  - Photos of your recording space (sometimes I can spot obvious issues just by looking at your setup). - A recorded sample that leaves some space at the top so I can hear just room tone and background noise, followed by you reading some softer and then louder passages so we can hear how the room or booth reacts. This should be free of any processing (no EQ, compression, noise removal) for an honest representation of your space. The things I'm checking for are mic placement, booth acoustics, mic quality, level settings and other details that can effect your sound. Often times, simple adjustments can dramatically improve your quality! If more dramatic adjustments such as acoustic treatment or equipment consulting is needed, we'll have to schedule a second session under Consultation or Booth Consult to continue. Generally, people are able to resolve glaring issues quickly during our evaluation. 15 minutes goes quickly- so please be prepared and ready to go! It's tempting to bring a list of questions, but we may not have time. If you feel you need a longer session for additional information, it's better to book at 30 minute general help session (see separate appointment window for that). Important: You are paying for my time as much as my expertise. If you are late, or miss your appointment, there are no refunds. I am happy to reschedule if you let me know two days in advance.   • Booth Consultation

    A USB mic in the middle of your living room is not going to get you very far. Since the start of lockdown in NYC back in March 2019, I have been presenting webinars on what makes a home studio. In that time I have consulted with over 2,500 actors to 'up their home game' and keep them working with the big studios so we can all get the job done. The cost of this one hour consult is $180, which can be paid through this website using PayPal (a Zoom link will be generated and sent automatically) or by Venmo to @frank-verderosa, and I will send a Zoom link prior to your appointment. I will work with you for up to an hour to evaluate your space and find what works best. If needed, we'll measure it in detail and I will follow up our meeting with a shopping list and instructions to make your booth great!

  • Demo Reel Production

    *** This is to schedule our first meeting. A deposit of $500 is due to start the process*. Please do not make your deposit payment until we have corresponded! Once we set up a schedule, you will be given payment plan information*** The process includes 4 Zoom meetings: - An initial consultation to check your setup, discuss goals, direction and select 5 scripts. - 3 directed Zoom sessions to record the spots**. - Fee includes all sound effects and music licensing. Post-production (music selection, sound design, editing and mixing) is done in my own time. MP3s for your approval will be sent as they progress. In the end, you will receive a completed reel plus all of the individual files that were used in both WAV and MP3 format. I can accept a limited number of demo reel productions monthly, working in the evenings and select weekends. If you’re not sure you’re ready for do this, you’re welcome to have your coach reach out to discuss or include them in our conversations. I am happy to provide samples of recent demo projects in addition to the work posted under the TV, Radio and Promo sections of my website. I apply the same level of direction, care and creativity that goes into the big-brand, national commercials I’ve been making week after week for decades. During Covid, demo reel production is being handled 100% remotely between my personal studio and your home studio. * If during our initial meeting it is determined that you or your setup are not quite ready for this, your deposit will be refunded minus a $50 fee. **Source Connect is the most efficient way to work together, but is not crucial for this process. We will find the best workflow for you.

  • Demo Reel Editing

    Who is this for? You're a working voice actor wanting to update your demo reel with your latest work! If your current reel is getting stale or dated, and you've got some new spots you want to cut in- send it all my way! I will work to structure your new reel for best impact- seamlessly integrating new spots into your old reel. I'll provide a couple of options for order for your approval. Your finished reel will be mastered and polished so that all spots pop. Payment can be made via Venmo @frank-verderosa, or PayPal.me/frankverderosa (directly through this website). *** PLEASE NOTE: If you book this service, and the materials send over do not work for a demo reel, you will be given a refund minus 20% for time taken to download materials plus cancellation fee.   • Gear Setup Consultation

    The cost of this 2 hour appointment is $360. You've been researching, taking classes, and finally bought everything you need to set up your home studio. The problem is- you find it a bit overwhelming. Don't worry- you're not alone! Over the course of 2 hours, I will get you from a pile of boxes to recording yourself and emailing takes. We'll walk through your interface settings, mic connection and placement, connecting to your DAW and finally recording and delivering takes. The cost if $320 for approximately 2 hours, all conducted over Zoom. A link will be sent with payment. Please do not pay until your requested time slot has been approved. Important: You are paying for my time as much as my expertise. If you are late, or miss your appointment, there are no refunds. I am happy to reschedule if you let me know two days in advance.
